Few Economical Tourist Destinations

In the hottest days of May June and July, generally people thoughts about to put themselves at some cold travel destination, but it is not so simple as it looks, there are lots of difficulties in organizing a tour like firstly leave from office is not certain because in this period everyone wants to take leave and spent some time with his family, anyhow if got leave then searching a proper destination in the budget is the another major problem.

So, to reduce some of the complexities, I am here to help you in sorting out a tourist destination in this hot weather, so that we can enjoy our vacations without getting disturbed.

Lansdowne

Lansdowne is originally known as Kaludanda (कालूडाण्डा) after Kalu (Black) and Danda (Hill) in Garhwali. First thing about Lansdowne is that it is just 250 Kms (approx.) away from Delhi-NCR, so we can easily visit there in just 6 hours of driving. Normally, we have to face huge crowd in tourist places but Lansdowne is an exception and thus it gives relaxation to body and soul. Limited number of people may know that due to lack of crowd, it is economical place to visit. It is situated at an altitude of 1,706 mts above sea level surrounded with thick oak and blue pine forests in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand state and, within a budget of approx. Rs.5000/- we can spent a weekend in the lap of hills.

Kasol

Kasol is a small but very beautiful village in the valley of Himachal. It is also known as Mini Israel, the reason to call this city as Mini Israel is the trade and commerce here. One of the thing that we will get here  is Apple. Now, we will say that what is the link between Apple and Israel? A bigger section of the population in this town is from Israel. The local food and culture is also having their touch. This is the main reason to call this place to be a mini Israel. Kasol is so economical that we can easily get hotel stay at just Rs. 200/- for a day.

Pondicherry

Pondicherry (or Puducherry), a French colonial settlement in India until 1954, is now a Union Territory town bounded by the south-eastern Tamil Nadu state. Its French legacy is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas and chic boutiques. We can easily avails a bicycle on rent to roam around the city. For those coming to Pondicherry expecting a Goa-like place there is likely to be a great deal of disappointment. Unlike Goa, Pondicherry does not have a commercial infrastructure to entertain tourists. Pondicherry is a great place to look around, take a walk by the sea, attend a cultural program. There are number of ashrams in Pondicherry where we can stay there in very economical price and thus we can enjoy our vacations in very economical price for 2-4 days.

Goa

Variously known as “Pearl of the Orient” and a “Tourist Paradise”. If we are visiting Goa during Christmas-New year, it may be expensive for we but in other months of the year, it may results as the best destination for vacations. We can get very economical and best hotels on Anjuna Beach. We can easily get scooters on rent on very reasonable price for whole day. Goa is known for its magnificent scenic beauty and the architectural splendours of its temples, churches and old houses and casinos have made Goa a firm favourite with travellers around the world.

McLeod Ganj

McLeod Ganj  is a suburb of Dharmsala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is known as “Little Lhasa” or “Dhasa” (because of its large population of Tibetans. Mcleod Ganj may prove to be a very economical and majestic destination for us. Mcleodganj is known for its valleys, monasteries, and natural beauties. We can easily get a hotel in just Rs. 300/- for a day.
